The factory water-cooled intake manifold on the B58 engine platform is a known weak link that suffers from heat soak during aggressive driving, leading the ECU to pull timing or enter limp mode. The CSF 8200B replaces the OEM unit with a CNC-machined high-performance charge-air cooler manifold designed to handle the thermal loads of tuned and big-turbo builds. This manifold features a motorsports-grade bar and plate core with double the cooling capacity of the factory unit, utilizing 12 rows of water cooling compared to the OEM 6 rows.
