The factory plastic charge air cooler manifold on the Gen 1 B58 engine is prone to failing at the crimp-on gasket joints under high boost and suffers from heat soak during aggressive driving. The CSF 8300 replaces the OEM unit with a 100% TIG-welded billet aluminum manifold designed to withstand extreme pressures while maintaining lower intake air temperatures. This manifold features a motorsports-grade bar and plate core with 12 rows of water cooling, doubling the capacity of the 6-row factory unit.
