Installation
This unit is a drop-in fit application that installs in the OEM location with no modifications necessary. It is designed to work with all factory oil lines, mounting brackets, and shrouds. Note that this cooler has a larger internal volume than the factory unit and requires an additional 0.5 quarts of oil for a proper fill-up (7.5 quarts total). CSF recommends installation by a qualified facility if you are not familiar with BMW oil system service.
