The CSF 8275 replaces the fragile factory tube-and-fin unit with a heavy-duty bar-and-plate design to ensure engine longevity. This upgrade is especially critical for supercharged S85 engines where forced induction and heat exchanger placement significantly increase the thermal load on the cooling stack.
The CSF Race-Spec design features a core that is 40% larger than the factory unit, increasing thickness from 45mm to 63mm. To address common leak points, CSF utilizes a solid line connection block and a reinforced, braced return tube. The 100% TIG-welded cast end tanks provide a much stronger connection than the original brazed construction, making it a durable choice for both restorations and high-performance builds.

Installation
This oil cooler is designed as a drop-in fit that installs in the OEM location. It utilizes factory-style quick-connect fittings and mounting points. Note that minor trimming of the plastic shroud is required for installation to accommodate the increased core size. Detailed instructions are included for this modification. CSF recommends professional installation if you are not comfortable with cooling system service.
