The CSF 8301 features a unique top and bottom dual-pass design to maximize surface area and oil flow within the compact factory footprint. It utilizes a 50mm thick core with high-density multi-louvered fins to pull heat away from the engine oil more efficiently than the stock unit. Because it is designed as a 1 to 1 replacement, it accepts factory oil line connections and mounts using original hardware.

Fits
Fits the BMW E36 M3 (Euro Spec) and US-market Z3M as a direct drop-in replacement. It also fits US-market E36 3-Series models when used with the BimmerWorld Euro Oil Cooler Bracket Kit and appropriate oil lines.
Installation
This is a drop-in fit application that installs in the OEM location. It requires no modifications when used with factory Euro-spec brackets and lines. For US-market E36 models not originally equipped with an oil cooler, additional brackets and lines are required. CSF recommends following the manufacturer repair manual or using a qualified installation facility.
