Because the heat exchanger is mounted directly in front of the radiator, the engine cooling system must process air that has already been heated by the charge air system, risking limp mode during track sessions. The CSF 7226 replaces the thin 34mm single-row factory unit with a 42mm 2-row all-aluminum core. This design utilizes CSF exclusive B-Tube technology to increase heat transfer surface area by approximately 15 percent over standard oval tubes.
