The CSF 8280 replaces the failure-prone OEM crimped plastic tanks with 100% TIG-welded CNC machined billet aluminum construction. This kit integrates a one-piece welded aluminum charge pipe to eliminate the factory bolt-on plastic part and its problematic inner O-ring, preventing common boost leaks and check engine lights.
Developed in partnership with PWR, these intercoolers utilize Formula-1 grade air-to-air cores. The 2-row core design features rolled tubes with inner fins to maximize heat transfer and lower Intake Air Temperatures (IATs). This construction allows the 4.0L twin-turbo V8 to maintain consistent power levels during aggressive driving by preventing the ECU from pulling engine timing due to heat soak.

Installation
