High intake air temperatures and heat soak can significantly pull timing and reduce power on the M177 and M178 biturbo engines during aggressive driving. The CSF 8187 replaces the thin factory auxiliary radiators with a high-capacity all-aluminum design to stabilize both engine coolant and charge-air cooler temperatures. By increasing the core thickness from the OEM 26mm to 42mm, this unit provides approximately 100% more fluid capacity to prolong the heat soak threshold on the street or track.

Fits Mercedes AMG GT and GT S (M178), W205 C63 AMG (M177), W166 GLE63 AMG, and X166 GLS63 AMG. This unit is multi-fit and can be used on the left or right side. CSF recommends replacing both units simultaneously for vehicles equipped with two auxiliary radiators from the factory.

Installation

Designed as a drop-in fit installation using factory mounting hardware and quick-connect hoses. Some applications may require minor trimming of the plastic shroud for proper clearance of the larger 42mm core. Installation typically takes 1 to 2 hours per side. CSF recommends professional installation if you are unfamiliar with the Mercedes cooling system bleeding procedure.
