Since 2014 , iABED Industries has come up with a patented solution to solve the leaking rear main seal for the EA888.X line of motors. Since product announcement, requests have come in for the older line up of water cooled engines dating back to 1978 . Finally a solution has arrived. If you own a 1978 till 2009 Volkswagen/Audi/Seat/Skoda or a 2012 VW Golf R / Audi TTS / Seat Leon Cupra R with an EA113 engine then this is the rear main seal for you.
By using a double tongued spring loaded seal installed in a billet housing, we have effectively removed any doubt that your seal will ever leak again.

Note: This does not work on the 2.0 TDI engine that has a built in impulse wheel (03L103171A) nor does it fit the TSI chain driven engines
