The original owner of this super clean 2008 B8 Audi S5 4.2 came to Excelerate Performance because he just bought an RS7 as his weekend and nice weather toy. This S5 has been given the duty of being the everyday driver to and from work. Not only is this car well used as a daily driver it is also used for its ski-radar, acting as the sleigh carting him and his family to the mountains when snow threats arise.

Our team took liberty of making this already fun daily driver and ski hauler even better. With the want of more power on the mind, we had just the recipe to get this process cooking with our go to ITE Package…. Intake, Tune, Exhaust. APR supplied the carbon fiber intake and ECU upgrade netting this car a significant increase and overall performance, response and adding a nice growl from the front of the car and netting the car about 20hp.

AWE Tuning took care of the rest with their Touring Edition exhaust system. With just enough growl at idle to let you know this well built machine is NOT stock this car roars when under full throttle. Sure when at idle and wide open throttle you certainly know it is not stock. But how does it sound when you are on the highway with your wife and kids in the car on the way to the mountain? Well its simple, you cant really tell it isn’t stock. At cruising speeds, this AWE Tuning Touring Edition Exhaust releases all the good sounds to be heard from the 4.2L V8 But muffles down any of the bad. Utilizing AWE Tuning’s 180* Technology, Drone is no more. You can keep a quiet conversation inside the car or your passengers can easily take a nap without needing noise cancelling headphones or ear plugs.
