Performance Software optimized for use with 93 octane / 98 Ron fuel, a Garrett PowerMax GT2563 Turbocharger and supporting bolt-ons. The 8Y S3 Stage 3 Software from Unitronic safely increases power and torque, allowing users to enjoy their vehicles to the fullest on the street or on the track without reliability headaches.

Unitronic Stage 3 TCU Performance Software and supporting hardware is required to achieve advertised power figures.

Unitronic FLEX fuel enabled ECU Performance Software Calibrations are available for this platform allowing for seamless transitions between 100% gasoline to 85% ethanol and anything in between, without requiring an ECU reflash. Numerous UniFLEX calibrations are available depending on your transmission situation and fueling upgrades. UniFLEX calibrations also include several new features such as Rolling Launch Control (RLC) and Advanced Thermal Management.

FLEX enabled Software is available for an additional fee and it covers all lower stages up until your highest purchased stage as well.
 UniFLEX Hardware is required in order to take advantage of these FLEX enabled calibrations. Please contact Unitronic or your local Authorized Dealer to learn more.

  • Optimized Responsiveness, Smoothness, Drivability, and Comfort Unitronic’s ECU calibrations are engineered to improve engine response and reduce low-end lag. Unitronic’s Performance Software has gained worldwide recognition and is well known for its broad powerband, with smooth power delivery, maximizing responsiveness and “area under the curve”, under normal and hard acceleration.
  • Advanced Thermal Management Factory strategies include a tendency to favor higher operating temperatures for targeting maximum efficiency. Unitronic has developed and implemented its Advanced Thermal Management to target lower coolant temperatures based on the current drive mode selected by the driver. In more performance demanding conditions, like when operating your vehicle in Sport or Race modes, TCO targets are set to 90*C (194*F). Inversely, when maximum efficiency is preferred like when in Comfort or Eco modes, TCO targets are set to 100*C (212*F) and 105*C (221*F) respectively.
  • Boost Gauge Recalibration The OEM Boost Gauge has been recalibrated to show relative/gauge pressure rather than absolute pressure.
  • Coolant Temperature Patch The coolant temperature gauge has been patched to show actual coolant temperature as opposed to the "dummy" gauge as is factory.
  • High Speed Data Logging High-Speed Datalogging with proprietary custom ECU code patch that allows for data acquisition of hundreds of variables collected at 50Hz in a single log, which allows to collection and analysis of 100% of the OEM process. Other logging tools severely limit data collection variables which make it impossible to have a complete view of the OEM processes, therefore limiting the other tuner's abilities.
  • Expanded UniLogger Support Additional UniLogger support with custom tailored ECU logging profiles for each SIMOS 19.6 EPK to collect all the data required at the highest sampling rate possible for fast and efficient data collection.

  • Ignition Timing Precisely Calibrated for Higher Octane Fuel Engine calibration optimized to take advantage of higher fuel quality to extract maximum energy from the combustion. Therefore, when using a higher octane fuel, more power and better fuel efficiency will be achieved.
  • Optimized Maximum Output Unitronic’s ECU Calibrators deliver the maximum power output while staying within the operational limits of the factory engine and drivetrain components. Specifically, this results in the highest engine performance without sacrificing the reliability of the engine, turbocharger, or other engine and drivetrain components.
  • Factory Safety Limiters Retained OEM “fail safes” are retained within the ECU calibration. Close monitoring of all operation parameters ensures that engine operation stays within factory components limits, resulting in reliability.
  • Power Delivery Perfectly Optimized Throughout the Power Band Aligned with the OEM strategy, the calibration is designed to offer a large flat torque plateau to provide a smooth and linear power band. Maximum torque output is achieved sooner and maintained longer which creates a broader torque plateau and greater area under the curve. This results in an improved acceleration and optimal engine operation.
  • Speed Governor Removed Vehicle speed limiter within ECU is removed. (Subject to transmission rotational speed limit.)

    Optimized timing and injection in cruising condition allows for an improved fuel efficiency, under normalized driving conditions.
