It might seem like a gimmick but the Sprint Booster has been carefully engineered to re-map the throttle for a quicker and more instantaneous response. The Sprintbooster sends a new signal to the throttle controller which is amplified, or "boosted," so that throttle input is much more responsive throughout the entire RPM range. There's no more lag or delay in the first bit of travel in the pedal. Instead of a 'dead spot' in the throttle there is only response. While this will not add horsepower or make the car any faster, you will be avoiding a delay in the throttle which will make the car feel faster and peppier.
