DEVELOPMENT: If you’ve driven the new 992.2 GTS, then you’re aware of the problem we’re here to solve: the car is entirely too quiet. The factory system is shamefully silent, quieter than any sports car needs to be (yes, even for a Porsche). We set out to unlock the true Flat 6 tone we know has been kept from us.

Now, this GTS is different than most Porsches we’ve worked on in the past. This is the first 911 Model in a very long time to feature a single turbocharger, instead of the twin turbos we’re used to seeing. This alone creates a new challenge for us to work around. Additionally, this turbo is electronically assisted, marking the first time this feature has been incorporated into any 911 model. This is great for performance, as the turbo spool instantly, but it creates another challenge for the R&D department to think through.

The question we need to answer is: how can we make this car louder? Not just that, but how can we make this car louder while working with the E-Turbo, without triggering CELs?

Miraculously, we have found a solution.

CONSTRUCTION: Each set of sport cats is made in-house by our fabrication team from mandrel bent .065″ wall, 2.75″ diameter T304L stainless steel tubing, CNC cut flanges, laser cut brackets, and 3d printed stainless steel components. All welds are back purged for increased longevity under the most extreme conditions.

TONE: The 992.2 GTS has a very unique sound once you finally let it breath. It’s reminiscent of older, single turbo Porsches. Similar to a 930 if you will. Some would even say it sounds like a V8, comparable to the Bi-Turbo AMG engines. Sound is subjective at the end of the day, so why don’t you take a listen and let us know what you think.

BOLT ON FITMENT: Each set is built and tested in a thick gauge aluminum fixture (which prevents warping) for perfect fitment – guaranteed. Every set is rigorously quality-checked prior to shipping and then foam packed to ensure they arrive in perfect condition. New high grade hardware is included for the bracketry.
