The releaser forms the connection between the rotating clutch and the static actuating system. It is responsible for making sure the clutch functions reliably.
SACHS CSC (Concentric Slave Cylinder)
These releasers from ZF SACHS have an integrated slave cylinder. This eliminates the need for a clutch release fork between the releaser and slave cylinder as well as the associated mounting points.
The unit is mounted directly on the transmission. CSC releasers are used when the installation space is too small for a conventional clutch actuating system.
