Our massive 'plate & bar' Intercooler System uses a huge 65mm core depth to give a huge volume increase over the factory cooler - making it the best performing intercooler upgrade on offer for the older EA113 & EA888.1 2.0 TSI cars.
By consistently reducing IAT, heat soak is minimised - delivering repeatable, increased performance again and again. No need for the recovery cool-down times required for the factory intercooler.
Our development focussed on finding the ‘sweet spot’ of maximum IAT cooling versus minimum pressure loss. This has allowed us to achieve increased size without increased lag.
Increased 70mm inlet and outlet sizes allow for higher flow versus the 60mm factory outlets, with matching enlarged Boost Hoses provided with the intercooler kit. Includes a silicone hose aluminium adaptor to step up the size.
MAXIMUM CORE SIZE
The massive 'plate & bar' intercooler unit features a 65mm high-speed core using extra tall internal tubes for maximum boost flow and a massive increase in volume.
BOOST HOSES INCLUDED
A pair of internally-wired OEM fitment 70mm boost hoses are included, multi-ply to resist heat deformation and burst pressure. Supplied with an aluminum step-up size adaptor.
FLOWED END TANKS
Cast construction end tanks for minimal turbulence and restriction use internal flow guides to divert airflow up and down across the entire core depth, with enlarged 70mm inlet & outlet.
