Bedding-In Procedure

Proper bedding-in is crucial for maximizing performance:

  1. Perform 10 consecutive stops from 60mph (100kph) to 5-10mph (10-15kph).

  2. Immediately accelerate back to 60mph (100kph) between each stop.

  3. Avoid complete stops to prevent pad material from imprinting on the rotors.

  4. By the 8th or 9th stop, you may notice a distinct smell and slight brake fade ("green fade"), which will stabilize once cooled.
