Bedding-In Procedure for Maximum Performance

For optimal braking performance, follow this step-by-step bedding-in process:

Initial Bed-In:

  • Gentle stops from 80km/h to 30km/h at ≤50% pedal strength (repeat 20 times).
  • Ensures proper pad-to-rotor fitment.

Heavy Bed-In:

  • Hard stops from 150km/h to 120km/h with increasing pedal force (30% → 50% → 80%, repeat 10 times).
  • Forms a strong friction layer between rotors and pads.

Cool Bed-In:

  • Controlled stops from 80km/h to 30km/h at ≤50% pedal strength (repeat 20 times).
  • Properly conditions the rotor surface for consistent performance.

After completing these steps, rotors should appear shiny. If necessary, repeat based on vehicle model and track conditions.
