Bedding-In Procedure for Maximum Performance
To achieve peak braking efficiency, follow the recommended bedding-in process:
Initial Bed-In:
- Perform gentle stops from 80km/h to 30km/h at ≤50% pedal strength (repeat 20 times).
- Ensures proper pad-to-rotor fitment.
Heavy Bed-In:
- Perform hard stops from 150km/h to 120km/h with increasing pedal pressure (30% → 50% → 80%, repeat 10 times).
- Forms a strong friction layer between the rotors and pads.
Cool Bed-In:
- Perform controlled stops from 80km/h to 30km/h at ≤50% pedal strength (repeat 20 times).
- Ensures a properly conditioned rotor surface for optimal performance.
After completing these steps, rotors should have a shiny surface. If needed, repeat the process based on vehicle model and track conditions.
