The Dinan Free Flow Axle-Back Exhaust (D660-0086) is an aggressive acoustic and flow solution engineered to transform the BMW X3M/X4M (F97/F98), giving it a deeper, more menacing sound profile befitting a high-performance SUV. This system incorporates larger 76mm piping (an increase from 70mm stock) and features twin 76mm exhaust valves that are 30% less restrictive than the OE components. The design delivers verified power increases of +8HP and +6FT-LB of torque at 6600 RPM. The valves are computer-controlled, forcing all gasses into the muffler for civility during low-speed driving and opening fully for an awe-inspiring, straight-pipe-like sound under high-load conditions, all while utilizing drone abatement technologies to preserve the intimate nature of the interior.
