Dinan enhances the vehicle's output by enlarging the tubing to 83mm (vs stock 80mm) and utilizing absorption and reactive technologies to reduce backpressure. This results in a verified performance gain of +6 HP and +5 LB-FT of torque at 6600 RPM.
The system retains the computer-controlled exhaust valves, allowing the driver to adjust the sound via M-drive settings. The valves limit noise during low-speed driving and open fully during high-load conditions, allowing the bulk of the gases to bypass the muffler for a louder, aggressive tone with a 30% less restrictive flow through the twin 76mm secondary exhaust valves. Constructed entirely of T304 stainless steel with TIG welding and a brush finish, the system is finalized with enormous, quad 4" (102mm) polished tips for an extremely aggressive, yet refined, styling.
