Dinan Cold Air Intake - 2000-2003 BMW M5 | D760-0390D

The Dinan High Flow Cold Air Intake System (D760-0390D) is an engineered induction upgrade for the 2000-2003 BMW M5, designed to ensure the powerful M5 engine is breathing plenty of cool, oxygen-rich air for maximum performance under varying driving conditions. This system replaces the factory air-boxes with proprietary twin high-flow air filters that are relocated outside of the engine compartment (behind the front bumper and below the headlights), insulating the intake from under-hood heat.

The system utilizes larger diameter intake plumbing to minimize air turbulence and maximize intake airflow. A key functional addition is the included air temperature sensor relocation kit, which corrects the problem of the stock Air Mass Meter's propensity to "heat soak" in stop-and-go traffic, ensuring the engine management system receives an accurate reading for consistent performance. When paired with Stage 2 Engine Software, this system delivers a verified gain of +5 HP and +4 LB-FT of torque at 7000 RPM. The newest iteration of the system features a re-designed carbon fiber tube with an updated logo for a more showroom-worthy appearance and long-lasting durability.
