This aggressive system reduces intake restriction by replacing the factory air box with a larger cylindrical performance filter and an optimized 4" diameter carbon fiber tube.
The filter is relocated to a separate compartment behind the front bumper and below the headlights in order to maximize exposure to cool outside air and insulate against engine compartment heat. The carbon fiber tube ensures minimal turbulence and maximum efficiency. When paired with Stage 2 Engine Software, this system provides a verified gain of +18 HP and +20 LB-FT of torque. This newest version features a re-designed carbon fiber tube with an updated logo for a more showroom-worthy appearance and long-lasting durability.

Important Note: This intake fits 540i models with a build date after 10/1998 (M62TU Engine). 1997-98 540i's with the M62 engine are not compatible. Stage 2 Engine Software is recommended for optimum performance and drivability.
