Contrary to the market norm, this is not a direct carryover from the M3/M4. Dinan has independently developed this package, specifically addressing the M2's tendency for oversteer by softening the rear spring rate by 13% and switching from the factory progressive rate to a more predictable dual rate spring setup. This combination increases predictability and compliance, providing better rear grip and road holding. The result is a sleek lowered stance that inspires new confidence by substantially reducing body roll, dive under braking, and squat under acceleration.

Features:

• Ride Height Adjustability: Threaded collars allow easy and precise front and rear vehicle height adjustments. Dinan recommends a 3/4 inch drop in front and rear to maintain a civilized ride.

• Optimized Spring Rates: Spring rates are 29% stiffer in front and 13% softer in the rear (with a new dual rate design) for increased predictability and better compliance, correcting the M2's oversteer tendency.

• Fine-Tuning Capability: Included suspension packers allow adjustment of bump-stop clearance to fine-tune handling and comfort—a feature vital in motorsports.

• Increased Suspension Travel: Springs combined with Dinan-spec progressive bump stops and other components increase travel, allowing the car to be lowered an incredible 1-1/8 inches in the front and over 2 inches in the rear (maximum drop).

• Structural Quality: Components are machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and black anodized for corrosion protection. Stock upper spring mounts are utilized for quiet operation.
