The Dinan Adjustable Coil-Over Suspension System (D190-0901) is a high-performance solution engineered for the 2018-2023 BMW M5 (F90) driver who demands maximum versatility and superior handling. Bred in the race lab and refined on the street, this system retains the superb factory electronic shocks (EDC) while implementing aggressive spring technology and threaded collars for precise, user-controlled ride height adjustment. The design delivers a substantial reduction in body roll, dive under braking, and squat under acceleration, providing a planted feel and inspiring newfound confidence at higher speeds. Dinan utilizes a more predictable linear rate rear spring (stock is progressive) with Dinan-spec progressive bump stops and included suspension packers to maintain a more compliant feel while still achieving a 20% stiffer front spring rate and a 15% stiffer rear spring rate. Components are machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and black anodized for maximum protection.

Features

• Ride Height Adjustability: Threaded collars allow easy and precise front and rear vehicle height adjustments. A drop of 1" in front and 1-1/8" in the rear is recommended to maintain a civilized ride quality.

• Optimized Spring Rates: Features spring rates that are 20% stiffer in front and 15% stiffer in the rear. Stock progressive rear springs are swapped for a more predictable linear design.

• Enhanced Dynamics: Provides a substantial reduction in body roll, dive under braking, and squat under acceleration for superior handling and stability.

• Fine-Tuning Capability: Included suspension packers allow the enthusiast to precisely adjust bump-stop clearance to fine-tune handling and comfort.

• Structural Quality: Components are machined from 6061 - T6 aluminum and black anodized for corrosion protection. Helper springs are utilized, and stock upper spring mounts are reused for quiet operation.

Important Note: Up to 2" of lowering in front and $2-1/8"$ in the rear are possible, but Dinan advises the recommended drop to retain ride quality. Due to the extensive lowering potential, the installer must carefully evaluate tire clearance under all situations.
