CTS Turbo is proud to offer this billet 1.8T 20V timing belt idler bracket. This bracket is used in applications where the engines timing belt tensioner has been converted from the standard hydraulic tensioner to the old style manual tensioner. By retaining usage of the factory idler pulley, this prevents loss of belt wrap on the crank pulley. It also prevents excessive vibration of the belt between the tensioner and that pulley by maintaining the short factory span between rollers. It is CNC machined from 6061 T6 aircraft aluminum, and features roll formed threads for strength.
