While the factory inlet pipe is restrictive and prone to turbulent airflow, the APR unit is cast from aluminum. This allows for an organically shaped, sweeping design that transitions gradually, maintaining a larger internal diameter all the way to the turbocharger’s compressor housing. By removing the internal bottleneck at the PCV inlet, this pipe allows the turbocharger to breathe more freely and operate with higher efficiency.
Engineering precision is evident in the CNC-machined inlet and outlet, which ensure a perfect, leak-free seal. The unit comes fully assembled with a billet-stainless-steel securing arm and a billet PCV bung, replacing the flimsy plastic components found on the OEM part.
