While the full kit replaces the entire linkage, this specific assembly focuses on the front-to-back movement (the throw). By replacing the factory cast-piece with a CNC-machined billet aluminum lever, it eliminates the flex and "mushy" feel common in the stock setup, providing a much more mechanical and precise engagement.
This lever features a fully adjustable slotted track, allowing the driver to customize the distance of the forward and backward travel. It also includes stackable stainless steel counterweights, which allow you to fine-tune the momentum and physical effort of each shift. To ensure maximum longevity, APR integrated a stainless steel spline insert—a critical feature that prevents the splines from stripping or wearing out over time, a common failure point in lesser aluminum shifters.
