By moving to an open-element design, this system dramatically increases airflow by 60% over the factory airbox (833 CFM vs. 521 CFM). This reduction in pressure drop allows the turbocharger to work more efficiently, resulting in dyno-proven gains of up to +12 AWHP and +13 AWFT-LBS over stock hardware.
The system is constructed from high-heat-deflection PEX material, which features an organic heat shield shape to block radiant heat from the radiator while retaining less heat than traditional metal intakes. At the heart of the system is a massive 7" washable cotton filter with a 4" outlet, providing superior filtration surface area and an aggressive, intoxicating induction sound. This intake is a direct bolt-on and is compatible with both factory and APR upgraded turbo inlet pipes.

- SAI Requirements: Models with Secondary Air Injection require a breather filter (CI100020-A).
- MAF Sensor: Not compatible with EA888.3B engines equipped with a Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor (e.g., some Gen 3 "B-Cycle" engines).
- Catch Cans: This system is not compatible with the MS100100 intake-mounted catch can system.
