Standard in-tank pump upgrades often fail due to the factory controller overheating or complex PWM signal requirements. APR solves this by utilizing a 255 LPH high-pressure inline fuel pump that works in tandem with the factory pump, managed by a dedicated APR Auxiliary ECU that communicates directly with the vehicle's CAN bus.
This "intelligent" fueling system ensures that the additional pump only operates when high demand is detected by the factory ECU. This strategy reduces power consumption, lowers fuel temperatures, and eliminates the loud, constant hum common with lesser "dumb" pump systems. Additionally, the system includes a unique fuel tank emptying mode, allowing you to quickly drain the tank via the APR Auxiliary ECU for fuel grade swaps or storage.
