The APR Intercooler System (IC100025) is the ultimate cooling solution for the Audi TT RS (8S) 2.5 TFSI EVO. The factory intercooler quickly becomes a bottleneck, leading to high Intake Air Temperatures (IAT) and significant power loss through heat soak. APR’s solution features a massive core with 41% more frontal surface area and 57% more total volume than stock, providing effective cooling for builds producing more than double the factory horsepower.

During dyno testing, this system showed gains of 26 AWHP over the factory unit on a Stage 1 93 octane vehicle, purely by reducing IATs and preventing the ECU from pulling ignition timing. The high-efficiency bar-and-plate core features staggered and louvered fins, balanced perfectly for low pressure drop and maximum thermal exchange. The smooth cast-aluminum end tanks are organically shaped using 3D laser scanning to ensure perfect fitment and laminar airflow across the entire core surface.
