The APR DTR8868 Direct Replacement Turbocharger System (T4100001) is the ultimate power solution for the 3.0T EA839 engine found in the B9/B9.5 Audi S4, S5, and SQ5. Unlike hybrid turbos that reuse factory housings, the DTR8868 is a ground-up design by APR. It features a high-temperature 310 stainless steel turbine housing and a German dual ceramic ball-bearing CHRA, providing superior transient response and reliability compared to the factory journal-bearing unit. This system is capable of producing a staggering 620 HP and 622 FT-LBS of torque while remaining emissions compliant.

The kit is a true "bolt-on" upgrade, designed to work with factory or upgraded components. It includes all necessary one-time-use hardware and an adapter for the APR intake system. One of the most significant advantages is the included Stage 3 ECU software, which supports everything from 91 octane pump gas to E85 ethanol. When paired with an upgraded HPFP (High-Pressure Fuel Pump), the DTR8868 unlocks massive power on ethanol without needing expensive port injection or low-pressure fuel system modifications.
