The factory plastic breather system is prone to overflowing under spirited driving or track conditions, resulting in transmission fluid spraying throughout the engine bay. APR's system solves this issue with a large billet-aluminum catch can that manages fluid expansion and gas venting more effectively than the OEM unit.
The system features an intelligent drain-back design, meaning that once the transmission fluid cools and contracts, it simply drains back into the gearbox, eliminating the need for manual emptying. The can is designed so that fluid enters at an angle, reducing the risk of oil saturation in the cotton gauze breather filter. The kit is finished with a durable black anodization and a laser-cut mounting bracket for a perfect, professional fit.
