The APR Billet Stainless-Steel/Aluminum Pendulum Mount (MS100180) is a critical drivetrain stability upgrade specifically engineered for MQB platform vehicles equipped with the 7-Speed DQ381 transmission. This high-strength mount replaces the factory unit with a new, robust two-piece design crafted from billet-aluminum and billet-stainless-steel.

The APR system significantly stiffens the driveline by replacing the factory rubber bushing with a PTFE-lined spherical bearing, featuring a heat-treated race and precision-ground ball. This reduction in transmission movement minimizes power-robbing "slop," leading to improved shift quality, better power transition to the ground, and a sportier feel during acceleration and gear changes. It addresses all concerns with the factory setup, is easy to install without dropping the sub-frame, and includes all necessary non-one-time-use replacement bolts for strength and longevity.
