The APR 2.0T FSI High Pressure Fuel Pump (MS100016) is an essential performance upgrade for the VAG EA113 engine platform. Designed to eliminate the primary fueling bottleneck of the FSI engine, this pump increases the maximum volume of fuel delivered by 41% over stock. This allows the direct injection system to maintain steady rail pressure during high-demand situations, such as mid-range acceleration on Stage 2+ or K04-turbocharged builds where the factory pump typically loses pressure.

Every APR HPFP is built using a brand-new, genuine Hitachi pump body and features internal components machined to aerospace-grade tolerances (as tight as .00004"). The internal plunger is crafted from heat-treated, bearing-grade stainless steel with a Diamond-Like Coating (DLC) for extreme surface hardness. Unlike "DIY" internal kits, APR units are fully assembled in a clean-room environment and machine-tested on a specialized rig to ensure seal integrity and solenoid function before shipping, protecting your engine's camshaft from potential damage.

Important Maintenance Note:

The EA113 engine platform is known for factory cam follower wear. APR strictly recommends replacing your cam follower with a new OEM unit when installing this pump. If your camshaft or follower is already worn, the pump may not achieve its full pressure capacity. Regularly inspect the cam follower as part of your maintenance routine to prevent catastrophic pump and engine damage.

Note: Specific APR ECU software is required to maximize the performance gains from this pump and is available for most 2.0T FSI vehicles.
