Through use of the smaller-than-stock AWE Tuning 3.0T Performance Pulley, the kit spins the 3.0Ts supercharger faster, creating more boost pressure while staying within the tested parameters of the unit. This increased boost pressure is used in conjunction with G.I.A.C. Stage 2 Performance Software to maximize the potential of the stock Eaton supercharger once coupled with the AWE Tuning 3.0T Performance Pulley.
The stock Audi ECU software directs a valve inside the supercharger to open, then waste (or “bleed off”) additional boost pressure. When the AWE Tuning 3.0T Performance Pulley is added, even more boost is created, as is the potential for even more bleed off. In steps G.I.A.C. Stage 2 Performance Software… preventing bleed off from happening by safely keeping the bypass valve closed, then optimizing ignition timing and air fuel ratios.
The outcome? The AWE Tuning 3.0T Performance Pulley and G.I.A.C. Stage 2 Performance Software work together to ensure that maximum boost is harnessed, redirected and maximized, resulting in efficient and effective use of boost pressure, and safe, reliable, dramatic power increases for your 3.0T.

FEATURES AND SPECIFICATIONS Our JHM Stage 1 Supercharger Kit for the B6-B7 S4 will make 80 to 100 wheel horsepower over your current configuration. Your current modifications, your dynamometer (dyno) used, temperature, elevation, and octane of gas will all effect the exact amount of power gains. Ultimately, the JHM Stage 1 Supercharger Kit is limited by the rods and pistons in a stock engine, so our kit is current configuration in Stage 1 allows you to make the maximum amount of power without significantly shortening the life of your motor. Stage 2 and 3 of our JHM Supercharger Kit will make SIGNIFICANTLY more power but will require a BUILT motor to handle the increased power. Our Kit features a Vortech Centrifugal Supercharger Head Unit that is good for up to 800 Horsepower! This head unit is a self contained unit featuring quiet, helical cut gears. The only noise you hear from the blower is at idle and low speeds. At wide open throttle, you hear nothing.
The Kit also comes with our JHM Supercharger Mounting Brackets that we designed and made in-house. These brackets are made from reinforced steel, laser cut, and are powder coated black for a clean installation.
In order to insure the longevity and the durability of the belt and pulleys on the S4, when we made this kit we upgraded the belt and pulleys to a 6 rib system with our JHM 6 Rib Accessory Belt Conversion Kit. This Conversion Kit features 3 JHM Supercharger Kit Specific Pulleys including an Alternator Pulley, a precision Counter Balanced Crank Pulley, and a Supercharger Pulley that produces 6 to 6.5 pounds of boost depending on your exhaust system and other modifications. Furthermore, we also include a JHM Belt Tensioner and Rollers.
Due to the compact engine bay of the V8 S4s, we had to locate the Vortech Supercharger Head Unit off of the Passenger side of the motor, below the headlight. To do this, we had to create a number of different proprietary parts including JHM Supercharger Kit Silicone Inlet and Outlet Hoses. The Inlet Hose is made from reinforced Silicone to prevent collapse under vacuum and takes in air through a JHM Supercharger Kit specific, K&N high-flow, conical air filter.
We also include our new JHM Oil Cooler and Auxiliary Radiator Delete Kit to free up room in the engine bay. This kit includes a custom, CNC machined adapter plate that installs behind the alternator and replaces the OEM Water Cooled adapter. This oil cooler kit is thermostatically controlled with a high-quality Mocal 180 degree F thermostat and includes stainless braided hoses with AN fittings, an upgraded Oil Cooler, Mounting Kit for the Cooler, and an upgraded Power Steering Cooler.

AC Lines That Require Modification for Installation of the JHM Supercharger Kit:
NOTE: Some Clearancing of Your Vehicle is Required - The lower quarter of the core support needs to be removed. - Notching of the bumper support mount points at the frame rail is required. - Clearancing near the passenger side sway bar mount point is required to accommodate the Silicone Supercharger Inlet Hose. - On a B7-S4 (2005.5 to 2008), some trimming of the bumper near the factory fog light will be required. In some cases the fog light may need to be shimmed with washers. Even with shimming, it will still fit the factory lower grilles. - Our kit was originally designed for stock fog light bulbs and stock fog lights on both the B6 and B7 S4. Some aftermarket fog lights may require additional clearancing.

This kit will give you the ultimate performance from your B7 RS4 with a stock engine with long term proven reliability.
This kit upgrades our stage 1 supercharger kit to a air to water intercooled setup with MUCH colder air and 1 to 3 lbs more boost. We have been running this kit since 2012 on stock engines and have found this is far as you want to go with stock ring end gaps on the stock engine. Customers of ours and the JHM team have ran low 11 second quarter miles in the 123 to 126mph range.
Unfortunately with stock piston ring end gaps even with our low EGT software you cannot make more power without colliding the rings in a short period of time. For those with a built engine with larger ring end gaps at a minimum and ideally better rods and pistons (limit of stock engine) we have smaller pulley combos that we have gone as fast as 10.7 in the quarter mile at over 130mph. Inquire for details if you have a built motor and want more than this kit can offer or if you already have this kit and are ready for the next step.

The JHM Stage 1 Supercharger Kit is the foundation for the different power levels that will be available for the B8-S5 4.2L. With the addition of a smaller pulley, an intercooler, fueling upgrades, or even a built motor along with our software upgrade, you can build off of the Stage 1 kit to meet your power output needs. This Stage 1 Kit features the same supercharger head unit that was on our in-house, record setting 2007 B7-RS4 4.2L FSI that ran an incredible 10.7 second quarter mile at 130 mph. That was at full weight, a complete interior, a complete exhaust system, and street tires!

Our JHM Stage 1 Supercharger Kit for the B8-S5 4.2L will make 100-130 wheel horsepower (WHP) over your car's current configuration. Your current modifications, the dynamometer (dyno) used, temperature, elevation, and octane of gas will all effect the exact amount of power gains.
Our Supercharger Kit features a Vortech V3 Si Centrifugal Supercharger Head Unit that is good for up to 800 horsepower! (Unchecked, this amount of power would be too much for a stock B8-S5 4.2L motor. Through our extensive development and testing process, we were able to limit the output of the supercharger to levels safe for the stock motor through hardware and tuning.) The V3 Si blower is a self-contained unit featuring quiet, helical cut gears. The only time you hear noise from the blower is at idle and low speeds. At wide open throttle, you hear nothing but the raw power coming from your JHM Supercharged S5.
The JHM Stage 1 Supercharger Kit also includes our JHM Supercharger Mounting Brackets that were designed and are made in-house. These brackets are made from reinforced steel, laser cut, and then powder coated black for a clean installation.

NOTE: We HIGHLY recommend new Coil Packs and Injectors (We stock both of these, go back one section to add them to your shopping cart) as well as performing a Carbon Cleaning during the installation of the supercharger for optimal performance. These cars are known to have Coil Pack and Injector failure once the vehicle gets over 60K Mile range. With FSI Engines, carbon buildup it is inevitable and if neglected too long can cause serious performance issues.

Centered around the highly efficient Rotrex C38-81 Supercharger, the Kraftwerks Supercharger kit produces impressive results throughout the entire power band. While unlike any other forced induction system, the Kraftwerks supercharger system provides a linear power curve, torque on demand, cooler operating temperatures, and total drivability. The Kraftwerks supercharger system provides instant throttle response and a progressive power curve that increases all the way to redline without the typical 'spiking' or 'surging' associated with turbochargers. This unique, more usable power curve results in reduced cylinder pressures, less strain on engine components, and increased reliability.
Rotrex superchargers also operate much cooler when compared to turbochargers and other supercharger systems, which reduces the engine's intake air temperature as well as its risk of detonation.
